JP23 ("we", "us", "our") operates the Compound+ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using Compound+, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account registration details: email address, username, and display name
• Profile information: profile photo (optional)
• User-generated content: posts, replies, poll votes, and any other content you submit through the App

Information collected automatically:

• Device information: device type, operating system, and version
• Usage data: features accessed, session duration, and interaction patterns
• Diagnostic data: crash reports and performance metrics

We do not collect precise location data, contacts, financial information, or health data from your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• Service delivery: To operate, maintain, and provide the features of the App
• Community features: To display your posts, profile, and activity to other users as part of the community experience
• Communications: To send push notifications about activity on your posts (with your device's permission settings)
• Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the App's functionality and user experience
• Safety: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service

4. Community Content Visibility

Posts, replies, polls, and other content you share within communities are visible to all Compound+ users. Your display name and profile photo are shown alongside your contributions. You should not share private or sensitive personal information in community posts.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: With trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the App (see Section 6)
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Safety: When necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of JP23, our users, or the public
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase — Authentication, database hosting, and file storage
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — Delivery of push notifications

Each third-party service provider has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information. We encourage you to review their respective policies.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure, with servers located in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion:

• Your profile information and account data will be deleted within 30 days
• Your posts and replies will be removed from the platform
• Anonymised, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for analytical purposes

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: You can view your profile and account information within the App at any time
• Correction: You can update your display name and profile photo
• Deletion: You can delete individual posts and replies, or request full account deletion by contacting us
• Data portability: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Notifications: You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings at any time

10. Children's Privacy

Compound+ is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 17 years of age. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 17, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 17 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

11. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
